Although environmentally, our world is fast depreciating, there are still many places in the third world countries, especially in Africa, where one can see appreciate mother nature and find many things worth “feeding the eyes” with.

Sightseeing is fun, always fun, and it gets even more interesting when you go for the things you have never experienced before. Seeing new things makes you feel that pride of knowing our planet and engaing with it more.

At times, I feel priviledged being born and bread in a third world country (he he). Here, everything is so fresh, green and natural. There are many places to vist and relax when you feel bored. Just about one mile from Uncle Che’s home is a Botanical Garden. The Bafut Botanical Garden which I believe is the second largest in Cameroon (after the one in Limbe) is very rich in flowers. I enjoy going there. The greatest fun is that all flowers there are labelled, with common names and scientific names.

Safaris are far more interesting than just visiting a Botanical garden or park. In a single safari, one can visit many locations and have lots of stories to tell after that.  There are very many safari locations in Africa, especially in the East and South.

In part 2 of this post, I will be giving a list of Safari destinations in Africa that rock.
